How does Node XR launch inside Moodle?
Moodle supports both routes in core, so the choice is about whether the content should stay editable in place.
Setting up the LTI route
An administrator registers the tool at Site administration, Plugins, Activity modules, External tool, Manage tools, either by dynamic registration or by entering the tool URL, public keyset URL, initiate login URL and redirection URIs. Moodle then issues a client ID and deployment ID.
Setting up the SCORM route
Upload the exported package to a SCORM activity. Watch the upload size chain: the web server, PHP, site, course and activity limits all apply, and the most restrictive wins, which matters as soon as media is involved.
On xAPI
Moodle has an xAPI subsystem but is not a learning record store, and the main plugin for sending Moodle events to an external LRS is declared only up to Moodle 4.5. If your analytics plan depends on it, check compatibility against your Moodle version first.
