No — anyone can buy a scenario. What you can do with it depends on whether you also hold a Node Creator licence. Without a licence, the scenario plays on desktop browsers and runs exactly as the creator built it. With a Node Creator licence, you can adapt every scene, hotspot, and voiceover, and deploy across VR, immersive wall, mobile, tablet, and desktop. Most institutions buy with a Node Creator licence because they want both — see Node Creator pricing.

Yes. Your purchase is a lifetime licence for your whole organisation — no expiry, no annual renewal, no per-seat fees. You can deploy to every learner who joins your institution going forward.

Once you've bought a scenario and you hold a Node Creator licence, you can re-record voiceover, change hotspot text, edit branching logic, swap in your own branding and footage, add or remove scenes, change the assessment rubric, and republish — without paying extra. The original creator's version stays intact for you to revert to at any time. Without a Node Creator licence, the scenario runs as-is.

With a Node Creator licence: every modern device — Meta Quest 2 / 3 / Pro, Pico, desktop browsers, iOS & Android phones and tablets, and immersive projection walls. Node XR adapts the interaction model per device automatically. Without a licence: the scenario plays on desktop browsers only (Chrome, Safari, Edge).

Immediately. Once payment clears, the scenario is available to deploy. Licence holders see it in their Node Creator workspace ready to adapt; non-licence buyers receive a desktop-playback link and a pre-built SCORM package.

Yes. The organisation-wide licence means every learner enrolled at your institution can run the scenario — across as many cohorts, terms, and intakes as you like, regardless of whether you hold a Node Creator licence.

Yes. Every scenario includes a pre-built SCORM 1.2 / 2004 package you can drop into Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, Teams, Cornerstone, Docebo, or any compliant LMS. With a Node Creator licence you can also re-export your adapted version as fresh SCORM, xAPI, or LTI 1.3 at any time.

Yes — 30-day no-questions refund from the date of purchase. If the scenario doesn't fit your cohort, email hello@nodexr.com and we'll process the refund.
