Social Care Wales asked a simple question: how do you make a 12-year-old understand what a career in care actually looks like? Posters and assemblies weren’t cutting through. They needed something pupils would choose to explore — something that felt real, not like a lesson.
Node XR worked with Powys Council and Carmarthenshire Council to build bespoke 3D experiences around two real roles: a care worker supporting someone at home, and a primary teacher leading a class. Each experience drops the pupil into a realistic day, built from interviews with people actually doing the job.
Every screen, every voiceover, every hotspot is available in both Cymraeg and English. Language isn’t an afterthought — it’s baked into the build from day one. Pupils switch freely, and the experience feels native in both languages.
Inside the experience
Nyrsio · Care Workers
The bilingual title screen sets the tone before a single hotspot appears. Pupils see both languages side by side — Nyrsio and Care Workers — and choose the language they’re most comfortable in. From there, the experience unfolds around a realistic day: arriving at a home, reading the care plan, and responding to what happens next.
