Do I need an immersive wall to use Node XR?
An immersive wall is one deployment target among several, not a requirement. Most Node XR customers never install a wall — they reach learners through the browser, phones, tablets and VR headsets.
Node XR works without any wall
The core platform is complete on its own. Author a scenario, publish it, and deliver it to a whole cohort by browser link, on mobile, or in a VR headset — no projection hardware involved.
When a wall is worth it
Walls add shared, headset-free immersion for group training, debriefs and exhibitions. Because a wall runs the same published scenario as every other device, adding one later is a deployment choice, not a rebuild.
So the Walls tiers are opt-in
The Pod and Room licences on the Immersive Walls page only matter if you already run — or are commissioning — an immersive install. Start on the platform alone and add walls if and when a space calls for it.
