What is the difference between a Pod and a Room?
Pod and Room are the two immersive-wall install tiers. The line between them is about the size and complexity of the physical install — how many surfaces Node XR has to drive and sync — not a cap on how many people can use it.
Pod
A Pod is the smaller footprint: typically up to three projection walls or projectors, with no projected floor. It suits a single training bay, a demo space, or a classroom corner where you want panoramic immersion without a full room build.
Room
A Room is the larger install: four to eight projection surfaces plus a projected floor, wrapping learners on every side. It is the format for CAVE-style spaces, group debriefs and whole-cohort tutor-led sessions.
What the tier actually reflects
The tier maps to the integration effort and pipeline support each install needs — more surfaces mean more calibration, edge-blending and runtime sync for Node XR to manage.
Neither tier limits how many learners can be in the space. A Pod and a Room are both unlimited on headcount; you licence the install, not the seat.
