Immersive training

Also known as immersive learning

Learning by being placed inside a realistic environment to practise the real job safely and repeatedly.

Immersive training places a learner inside a realistic environment — a hospital ward, a workshop, a forecourt — rather than in front of slides.

By letting people practise the real job safely and repeatedly, it builds decision-making and muscle memory that passive e-learning cannot.
