Do I need a 360° camera to get started?
A 360° camera is useful when you want to capture your own workplace, but it is not a requirement for building your first scenario.
Ways to start without a camera
- Flat 2D images, for slide-style or map-based scenes
- Photographs and renders you already have
- A 360° scene generated by AI Assist from a text prompt
- A ready-made scenario from the Node XR Marketplace, run as it is or adapted
When a 360° camera is worth it
Filming your own ward, salon or site is how you get a scenario that matches local practice, and that accuracy is often the point. When you are ready, 360° images and 360° video upload straight in. The free tier covers 2D and 360° images; 360° video comes with a paid plan.
