SCORM 1.2
Also known as scorm 1.2
SCORM 1.2 is the 2001 version of the SCORM e-learning standard, defining how a course is packaged and how it reports status, score and time to an LMS.
Published by Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL), it packages a course as a zip file with an imsmanifest.xml. The LMS launches the course in a browser, and the course reports through a JavaScript API: one lesson status (passed, failed, completed, incomplete, browsed or not attempted), a score and session time. Saved progress is capped at 4,096 characters.
It is still the most widely accepted package format, so it is the safe default for a mixed estate. Node XR exports SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI and cmi5.
