FAQ Events & exhibitions

How should we measure the impact of an exhibition stand?

Event measurement is often a badge count and a feeling. A fair comparison and the right counts are what justify the content budget a second time.

What is a fair comparison?

The same event, year on year. Footfall varies enormously between shows, so comparing different events in different cities tells you very little. BD's figures of 190% more interactions and 30% more qualified prospects at IBMS Congress 2025 are quoted against the previous year at the same congress.

What should you count?

Count what visitors did, per experience.

  • Interactions and dwell time per experience
  • Tour completion and scans per marker
  • Captures per interaction
  • Which experiences produced the leads that became real conversations

How does Node XR report it?

Every interaction is logged, including dwell time, clicks and route, and heatmaps and user flows show what resonated. Those events can be wired into GA4 alongside the rest of your funnel, so the event does not live in a separate spreadsheet.
