What do we need on an exhibition stand to run Node XR?
Node XR is content software, not stand hardware. What you need depends on the formats you choose, and the entry point is small.
What is the minimum set-up?
A tablet or a screen, plus a QR code. A self-guided tour on the visitor's own phone needs only a QR code and content you already have, and a tablet-led walkthrough needs a tablet and existing assets.
What else can a stand add?
Each further format adds one thing to the minimum set-up.
- AR markers on graphics and leaflets: printed material set up as AR triggers
- A full-size product in AR: an existing 3D model
- An immersive wall or Cube: the wall hardware and purpose-built scenes
- A branded game with capture: a game format and a capture form
Who supplies the hardware?
Your stand builder or AV partner does, because Node XR does not sell hardware. For walls, Node XR works with anything that runs a Windows or Linux media server with HDMI or DisplayPort output to projectors or LED panels, and compatibility for a specific install is confirmed in writing. At IBMS Congress 2025, BD used a multi-wall immersive cube from Gener8 Healthcare.
